The List takes a highly individualized 1:1 approach to each student and family, ensuring that the student has the tools needed to succeed in every area, from schoolwork and tutoring to summer programs and extracurricular activity development. When application season comes around, The List helps the student identify unique strengths and interests so that their profile can wow school admissions officers.
SECONDARY SCHOOL ADMISSIONS CONSULTING
Grade 9 - 12
Conduct Weekly 1:1 meetings with students
The student and their consultant will meet once a week to discuss progress, address application issues, and calibrate goals according to the prescribed application timeline
Weekly progress reports for parents will include
Feedback from consultant on student performance
School list and application strategy update
Applications progress update
Counsel students for up to 10 U.S. boarding school applications
Consultants will provide guidance on ten applications, including guidance on personal statements, supplement prompts, and extracurricular activities.
Advise families on building a school list, risk evaluation, application strategy, and timeline for completion
Evaluate students’ strengths and interests to showcase in their application essays and interviews with admissions officers
Guide students in brainstorming, outlining, composing, and revising applications essays
Assist with preparation of essential ancillary documents (student visa application, financial aid if applicable, etc.)
Teach successful admissions interview techniques and offer ample mock interviews
Secondary School curriculum structuring & advising
Grades 9-12
Bimonthly 1-on-1 meetings with the student
The student and their consultant will meet twice a month to discuss strategy for accomplishing our set goals for the semester

The student and their consultant will collaboratively select courses based on previous student performance, which will determine the student’s capacity for high-level coursework

Signature programs often require additional application materials, such as personal statements and supplement essay questions. As consultants, we will advise students every step of the way
